Tomeato Sauce

Hell Pizza is notorious for stirring things up. So it came as no surprise when they messed with a Kiwi classic, by making a Steak & Cheese Pie pizza that wasn’t made with meat, but a vegetable-based substitute. To challenge the meat-eating faithful to give the alternative meat source a try, we created Tomeato Sauce – a tomato sauce, made from blood. The meaty condiment for the meatless pizza came in blood bag packaging, sporting the line that summed up the duality of the campaign and the dilemma facing consumers – “It’s so wrong. But so right.”
